    • Great car

Company car, new with 16 miles on it. 4 cylinder 2.5 Iron Duke engine. Large trunk and gas tank. Drove it 10 years all North Carolina driving. Averaged 30 miles per gallon. I'm the mountains, you would need to let it breathe as you could see the temp gauge move a little to the warm side. 5,000 mile oil changes, transmission fluid and filter around every 30,000 miles. Repairs were 1 water pump with hoses and antifreeze. 2 serpentine belts, 3 batteries, brakes all around twice. Retired and turned in the car with 185,000 miles. I bought the car at a NC property auction for $450.00. 1st car for my daughter who drove 20 miles a day to college for 4 more years.
    • Reliable Enough

As a college student, I brought this car back during the pandemic and I can assure you that I have driven it every day for school and work, back-to-back trips. I've taken it out of state and back with no problem. Bought it with 65,000 ODO and still running strong with 81,000 ODO. Have not had a single problem with the engine at all. Other reviews are right through. Small things begin to fail after a while like window motors and such but they are extremely cheap to fix considering it's a GM vehicle and you don't even have to fix them. Transmission is strong, feels smooth, and doesn't have a single issue. The biggest concern is the alternator which is cheap to replace, it's a GM vehicle. If you are looking to buy, I can tell you this car with low miles, under 100,000 ODO, is the biggest bang for your buck.
